Hablemos de nieve! (Let’s talk about snow!)

1) So yeah, snow is white and crunchy. And definitely cold.

2) Playing in the snoww is sooo muuuuchh FUUUUUNNN!!!

3) Whoever said that the campus would look pretty was a partial big liar. During the day, the snow mixed with sand looks disgusting. Period. However, when it is snowing or when it has just snowed… I feel like the Prince Charming must come from there.

4) Nothing is more beautiful than snowing out my window or out the diner window… lol.

5) I am particularly impressed by certain things: snow on cars and bikes are incredibly hilarious!!! Plus. they way snow and ice falls off roofs is simply beautiful!

OK TILL HERE TODAY!!! BE GOOD, BE SAFE, AND SEE YOU SOOOON!!!

HASTA AQUI EL DIA DE HOY! SEAN BUENOS, CUIDADOSOS, Y HASTA PRONTO!!!

Got Rafting?

Took a camera in  my hands down the Yellowstone River, accompanied by Anil and Ali!!! :D

And the videooooo!!!!

Yo trabajo! jum!

Lusmerlin también ha hecho trabajo forzado:/ Lusmerlin has also done forced labour:

1) The East Gallatin Recreation Center Maintenance Project: If you’re in civil engineering, you can hire me… I can spread gravel!

2) Children International’s Festival: the weaving project. I can be with almost no clothes at 4°C weaving with children.

3) Rockin’ the M: I can lose my breath 999 times during the hike and paint rocks:

Kayaking

NOTE: Recapitulando parte 1. Very late post.

English: So Lusmerlin went to a little trip in one of those funny little boats that look like a twisted carrot called kayaks. She goes to her trip though she can’t swim, hoping that the life-vest ain’t got a puncture. She goes down the Yellowstone river on a sunny day, with a bunch of crazy people and river pirates. Row and row and row and row, but Lusmerlin does not want to leave. She loves mountains. She was happy.

yoohoo!!!

The Story Mansion

The Story Mansion is a recreational area of Bozeman. It is basically a great vintage house where different activities take place along the year. Fred and Patricia invited me there to watch a movie outdoors (yes, like in the movies… so american!) and a car exhibit. I got more pics, but Internet is misbehaving. See ya soon!

Catapalooza and the Marching Band

At the end of august, before starting classes there was this very interesting fair on campus called Catapalooza. It was basically a bunch of stands promoting the different community and on campus organizations. From sororities to community service, there was everything you could imagine.

Before coming here I had already checked the huge amount of clubs you can join here… and you guys will have the chance to see little by little everything I’ve been doing!

What I loved the most during Catapalooza was the huuuge amount of free cute stuff I got and the wonderful performance of the marching band. I got different videos but right here I got a little demonstration for you. FOR SOME REEEEASON the speed is higher and it looks really shaky, but at least you’ll get the idea!

Catching up: one month +

Oh well…. I was having a lot of problems with my internet connection here. The network (ResNet) is actually new this semester and it became literally a pain for many people to get the right configuration. I got some of the Resident Advisors and even people from the IT department help me and guess what??? Nothing.

Yes, nothing..

Absolutely NOTHING!!!

Fortunately the person who spent about an hour trying to troubleshoot my little baby and the crazy wireless understands how things can go with your OS. “That happens to you because you don’t have Fedora”, said he. And oh Well, I do like Fedora, but my netbook didn’t really get along with it.

The good news is that I bought an ethernet cable and set my wired connection. That means THAT I’M BAAACKKK!!!
